黃克競博士作為香港著名工業家及慈善家，一生致力推動工業發展與教育事業，其創辦的「黃克競基金」/「寶源實業」長期支持本地學術與科研，影響深遠。是次展覽將首次公開部分私人藏品與手稿，極具歷史與教育意義。

本次展覽系統回顧香港工業先驅黃克競博士的傳奇一生，從「牙刷大王」到「光學之父」，其「克服競爭」的創業精神，不僅見證戰後香港工業轉型歷程，更展現了香港企業家堅毅創新、回饋社會的典範。展覽透過珍貴史料，呈現黃博士在工業發展、技術創新及社會公益方面的卓越貢獻。


As a renowned industrialist and philanthropist in Hong Kong, Dr. Haking Wong dedicated his life to advancing industry and education. His founding of the Haking Wong Foundation and Po Yuen Industries has long supported local academia and research, leaving a profound impact. This exhibition will feature some private collections and manuscripts displayed publicly for the first time, offering invaluable historical and educational insights.

This exhibition provides a comprehensive retrospective of Dr. Wong’s legendary life—from "King of Toothbrushes" to "Father of Optics." His pioneering spirit of "Overcoming Competition" not only witnessed Hong Kong’s post-war industrial transformation but also exemplifies resilience, innovation, and social responsibility. Through precious historical materials, the exhibition highlights his outstanding contributions to industry, technological innovation, and social welfare.
