本展覽透過氣候回應的舒適性與可持續性視角，審視陸謙受於戰後香港的建築項目。展覽以香港大學圖書館陸謙受建築檔案為基礎，重新整理其銀行、公共房屋、公寓大樓、分層住宅及私人住宅中的平面圖、剖面圖、立面圖與外牆細部。透過這些不同的建築尺度與居住方式，展覽追溯建築如何以深簷、陽台、走廊及屏面塑造日常生活，並展示舒適性如何透過遮蔭、空氣流動、朝向及過渡條件被協調與建構。相對於今日對密封外牆與機械冷卻的依賴，本展覽將現代建築重新置於密集而潮濕的亞熱帶城市之中。

This exhibition examines Luke Him Sau’s post-war Hong Kong architectural projects through their climate-responsive approach to comfort and sustainability. Drawing on the Luke Him Sau Architectural Collection at the HKU Libraries, it reassembles plans, sections, elevations, and façade details across banks, public housing, apartment towers, condominiums, and private residences. Across these varied scales of building and modes of dwelling, the exhibition traces how architecture shaped everyday life through deep eaves, balconies, corridors, and screens, demonstrating how comfort could be negotiated through shade, air movement, orientation, and threshold conditions. Set against today’s reliance on sealed envelopes and mechanised cooling, the exhibition situates modern architecture within the dense and humid subtropical city.
